The ROL Portfolio
Geneseo Campground, Geneseo, Illinois
Constructed in 1971, Geneseo Campground is a beloved legacy camp located under 10 minutes from I-80, near the Quad Cities. It sits on the banks of the Hennepin Canal, which is on the National Register of Historic Places and part of the TransAmerica bike trail. Geneseo was designed as a family getaway and provides various activities, including kayaking, pedal carts, and a splash pad for the kids.
ROL acquired Geneseo in August 2021. The campground features 59 pull-through RV sites, 12 back-in RV sites, 4 cabins and a yurt.
Turkey Creek Campground, Almond, North Carolina
Near the Nantahala River, Lake Fontana and Bryson City in the Great Smoky Mountains, Turkey Creek offers guests a serene getaway while providing high-adventure enthusiasts access to some of Western North Carolina’s most breathtaking trails and waterways.
The campground features 40 wooded sites. ROL acquired Turkey Creek in May of 2022.
Nighthawk Forest, Paoli, Indiana
Surrounded by the magnificent Hoosier National Forest in Southern Indiana, Nighthawk offers spacious RV sites and a lakeside retreat for tent campers.
ROL purchased, redeveloped, and reopened this formerly closed campground in 2023.
Pisgah Falls, Pisgah, Alabama
Named for the stunning waterfalls of this region of lower Appalachia (one of which is at this camp!), Pisgah Falls was acquired as raw land in December 2022 and is set to open with 70+ campsites in 2025.

Adam Al Sirgany is a professional camper who currently operates ROL’s legacy campground in Geneseo, Illinois. An Eagle Scout and Leave No Trace Master Educator, he has worked for over a decade as a ghostwriter and editor while getting outside whenever possible.
